Agnes Bruckner - born 16 August, 1985 is an American actor and model. Her first appearance on television was in the mid 1990s, and since then has appeared in several films, including The Woods, Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate as well as The Anna Nicole Story. Bruckner was only 11 years old when she began her career. She made her debut in 1999 on The Bold and the Beautiful morning soap as well as in a variety of shows on television. Bruckner's first leading role was as a lead in Blue Car (2002), an independent film in which she played a girl who had an affair with David Strathairn as her high school teacher. Roger Ebert noted that Bruckner was able to tackle the complex script with conviction. Bruckner has received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for "Best Female Lead" for this character. She was raised along with three siblings, two sisters and a brother. Hungarian was her mother tongue and she practiced it regularly in order to improve her language skills. Bruckner is a Hollywood Californian born daughter of a Hungarian father and a Russian mother. Her paternal grandparents were German. Her parents are Hungary-born parents, who met in Hungary. Her family emigrated to the U.S.A. via an Italian refugee camps in 1984. Her siblings include three sisters and a brother.
